MAST
MAST (Multi-Agency Support Team) is an award-winning partnership of five local voluntary sector organisations that is helping transform urgent and emergency care across Bradford and Airedale.
By combining hospital-based interventions with community support, we help reduce readmissions, improve wellbeing, and ease pressure on NHS services.
Working in partnership, each organisation focuses on a different specialist area, including mental health, alcohol use, frailty, social prescribing providing support to frequent attenders, enabling and supporting timely discharge, reducing risk, and reducing admissions.
The team works collaboratively in A&E with other organisations such as ALPS (Acute Liaison Psychiatry Service), Occupational Therapists, MAIDT (Multi-agency Integrated Discharge Team) and ACT (Alcohol Care Team).
In 2024–25, MAST supported over 3,200 patients in hospital and 1,100 in the community, delivering life-changing outcomes and significant savings for the health system. View the latest impact report here: project6.org.uk
