A new way to reach Safe Spaces

We know that when someone is in crisis, asking for help can feel overwhelming. That is why we have introduced a new online referral form for Safe Spaces, making it simpler and quicker to get support.

Our new, online form can be completed at any time and only takes a few minutes.

Once Safe Spaces have received a submitted form, the team will offer an appointment within 24 hours during hub opening times.

Bradford Hub is open from 12pm until 2.30am and Keighley Hub is open 4pm – 10pm.

If a form is sent outside of these times, it will be picked up as soon as the service opens for the day at 10.30am.

The service is also accessible by calling First Response on 0800 952 1181 at any time.

Safe Spaces provides free crisis support and same day help for people aged five and over – across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. Our team offers a safe, welcoming place to talk and to find the support that feels right.

What can I get support for?

  • Some of the things people talk to us about include:
  • Overwhelming feelings of worry or fear
  • Panic that feels hard to control
  • Thoughts of suicide or self-harm
  • Deep feelings of sadness or hopelessness
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or the world around you

You don’t need a diagnosis or a referral – if you’re struggling, we’re here for you.
