Kim Shutler
Kim has been the CEO since November 2014, driving staff and services toward strategic goals, and acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and operations. Passionate about the role of charities she was recently appointed as the VCSE representative on the West Yorkshire Partnership Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Senior Responsible Officer for the Harnessing the Power of Communities programme. She is a member of the NHS England Adult Mental Health Steering Group and Senior Responsible Officer for Suicide Prevention for the West Yorkshire ICS. Kim was awarded an MBE for Services to Mental Health in 2022.

Heather Tattersall
Heather has been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer since 2022. As part of her role she also co-chairs the Bradford Suicide prevention Group and represents Bradford on the West Yorkshire Suicide Prevention Oversight Group. Heather is passionate about Peer Support and the positive impact it can have on people’s lives. Working in mental health since 2006 where she started as a Support Worker, Heather joined The Cellar Trust (then Cellar Project) as an Employment Worker in 2009. “Working at the Cellar Trust I found a place where I am believed in and given a chance. Colleagues are supportive of one another and it really is a great place to work. After over a decade I am still growing and learning every day. I’m reluctant to call it a job because I love it so much!”

Linda Haynes
Linda qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1980, graduating to a ward sister role within 18 months due to her hard work and dedication. She has had key roles in resettlement, rehabilitation and recovery of people with complex mental health problems, and later moved into, managing a wide variety of mental health services in Bradford and District Care Trust at senior level. Whilst working for Bradford CCG Linda set up the first Improving Access to Psychological Therapy services in West Yorkshire and has extensive experience of IAPT implementation and provision.

Michael Tomlinson
Michael qualified as Chartered accountant in 1994 and tax advisor in 1997. Having spent a number of years in private practice advising a number of smaller and medium sized business including a number of charitable organisations, he joined The Cellar Trust in 2021 as Finance Director. Michael is responsible for all aspects of the finance for the organisation.

Helen Horsman
Helen is a natural organiser and oversees all non-client facing services including communications, fundraising and estates. Prior to joining the Cellar Trust, Helen worked for some well known Yorkshire based companies before running her own hospitality business for many years. Helen is passionate about working for a charity, mental health and wellbeing and our local area.

Mehreen Nadeem
Mehreen - joined The Cellar Trust in 2024 to deliver strategic objectives by providing leadership around our People Plan and model our values. Leading on the operational implementation of our People Plan to maximise the wellbeing, productivity, and potential of our people and to continue to ensure that The Cellar Trust is a great place to work where people can thrive. Working in various sectors across different roles within HR over the past 10 years, Mehreen has had many different senior roles as a HR Consultant and trusted advisor to businesses in the public and private sector. Supporting various community projects and charity organisations as a pro bono consultant and as a board member, with a focus on special needs and disabilities, women’s advocacy, and mental health.
