Kim Shutler MBE

Chief Executive Officer

Kim has been Chief Executive Officer of The Cellar Trust since November 2014 and has led the significant growth and development of the charity. Alongside her leadership at The Cellar Trust, Kim works part-time with the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, where she serves as the VCSE sector lead on the Integrated Care Board, Senior Responsible Officer for the Power of Communities programme, and Co-Chair of the Integrated Neighbourhood Health Board. With a background in organisational development and communications in the public sector, Kim is an ILM qualified coach and NLP Practitioner. Her work has been recognised nationally, and she was awarded an MBE for Services to Mental Health in 2022.

Heather Tattersall

Deputy Chief Executive Officer (with Operations)

Heather has been the Deputy Chief Executive Officer since 2022 and is currently undertaking a Health and Care Fellowship, focussing on Adversity, Trauma and resilience. Working in mental health since 2006 where she started as a Support Worker, Heather joined The Cellar Trust (then Cellar Project) as an Employment Worker in 2009. “Working at the Cellar Trust I found a place where I am believed in and given a chance. Colleagues are supportive of one another and it really is a great place to work. After over a decade I am still growing and learning every day. I’m reluctant to call it a job because I love it so much!”

Linda Haynes

Director of Service Development

Linda qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1980, graduating to a ward sister role within 18 months due to her hard work and dedication. She has had key roles in resettlement, rehabilitation and recovery of people with complex mental health problems, and later moved into, managing a wide variety of mental health services in Bradford and District Care Trust at senior level. Whilst working for Bradford CCG Linda set up the first Improving Access to Psychological Therapy services in West Yorkshire and has extensive experience of IAPT implementation and provision.

Michael Tomlinson

Director of Finance

Michael qualified as Chartered accountant in 1994 and tax advisor in 1997. Having spent a number of years in private practice advising a number of smaller and medium sized business including a number of charitable organisations, he joined The Cellar Trust in 2021 as Finance Director. Michael is responsible for all aspects of the finance for the organisation.

Helen Horsman

Director of Central Services and Business Development

Helen is a natural organiser and oversees all non-client facing services including communications, fundraising and estates. Prior to joining the Cellar Trust, Helen worked for some well known Yorkshire based companies before running her own hospitality business for many years. Helen is passionate about working for a charity, mental health and wellbeing and our local area.

Chris Moss

Director of People and Culture

Chris brings over 15 years of experience in HR and Learning & Development, including a decade in senior roles within the social care sector. He holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management and has a strong grounding in occupational psychology, with a particular interest in how people experience work and how this shapes organisational culture. Known for his calm and structured approach, Chris is skilled at understanding how organisations operate — and how they feel to work in. He uses this insight to shape people strategies and interventions that help create inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplaces. At The Cellar Trust, Chris is focused on ensuring colleagues feel valued, trusted, and developed, so they can thrive and make a lasting impact for the people using our services.
