We’re moving out of Farfield Road for a little while…

The Cellar Trust is moving to another location in Shipley while some renovations are carried out at Farfield Road.

Shipley was identified as one of 101 towns in England to benefit from up to £25m investment. The significant investment in intended to deliver improvements to our town centre and provide jobs and training opportunities, as well as wider cultural and social benefits for the town.

In 2020 we worked with HALE to submit an application for some of the funding to create a Health and Well-being Community Campus. The funding was granted to The Cellar Trust and HALE remain involved as a key strategic partner.

We searched for a suitable site within Shipley, and it was finally agreed that the Farfield Road site/building was best placed to offer a home for the campus. In September 2023 we signed an agreement allocating us £2.85M to renovate and develop the site.

We love our home on Farfield Road but it is an old school building and definitely needed bringing up to date. We have done lots of public engagement to understand what people would like the new Health and Wellbeing Hub to be like which has included having more services under one roof, more green space, a more accessible building which is easier to navigate and more open space for people to informally meet.

If you have sessions or appointments with The Cellar Trust or Bradford District NHS Foundation Trust (BDCFT) NHS Talking Therapies  which would have usually been at our Farfield Road, Shipley site, from 11th March 2024, your session will be take place at Unit 12 Park View Court, Shipley, BD18 3DZ.

It’s only a short distance away near Shipley Swimming Pool and Asda and is based alongside other local charities Carer’s Resource and All Stars. Take a look at the Getting there section if you’re not familiar with our new location.
